That salty tartness giving this beer a crisp, sharp refreshing quality had an unusual result during our food and beer matching experiments. Quite frankly Rooty Toot Toot goes with everything North African - think Tagine, lamb, dried fruits, waxy fresh cheeses and Zatar.
Experiment with combinations with fruit cake sweetness or with aged cheddar to balance the salt. Or try with Vietnamese fresh spring rolls and green papaya salad (which is heavily influenced with the 4 roots in Rooty Toot Toot - a coincidence, we think not!)
